How the boards are judged

The tower board compares units you bring to hold a door. The economy board compares buildings that pay coins. Tesla is left off the tower board because its stats are not published. A high letter does not mean the unit is free at level 1.

Which [🌙] Survive The Night boards are on this hub?

Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.

S tier

economyFarmBest early coin building for an Easy clear. You can place several, and the first five waves are the window to do it.

Player decision Build Farms before a second row of weapons. A full Easy clear often wants several, not one.

towersMortarEditorial pick for bosses. Mortars can be set to Strongest, so they hit Thorn Warden or the Golden King instead of the crowd. This is a role judgment, not a measured damage chart.

Player decision Equip it once a crate gives you one, then set targeting to Strongest before a boss wave.

A tier

towersCannonEditorial pick for chunk damage from the early waves onward. A free Cannon has been claimed from the shop, and Cannons are described as inexpensive to push toward diamond visuals.

Player decision Take the free Cannon when the shop offers it and upgrade it beside your Crossbows.

economyMoney PrinterIndoor printer that you upgrade in place. One upgraded example paid about 300 coins every 5 seconds. That rate is not guaranteed at every level.

Player decision Upgrade it in the first waves alongside the first Farms.

towersCrossbowThe starter weapon. Cheap enough that players stack many of them. Level 6 has been seen as a red tier. Higher levels wait on the door.

Player decision Place one at the door first, then add more only after a Farm or the printer is running.

towersMedical BaseSupport, ranked here for survival rather than damage. The beam restores door HP while the door stays in range.

Player decision Place it after the door is leveled, close enough that you can see the beam on the door you are defending.

B tier

economyMining CaveLater income building that scales toward a Diamond Cave. Reports call the payout strong and less tied to the same door gates as Farm tiers.

Player decision Slot it in after Easy crates, especially before a two-door Hard run. Do not wait on it to beat wave 15 the first time.

towersFlamethrowerClose-range damage that play reports rate above a Crossbow at the doorway, with a narrower reach.

Player decision Add it on the doorstep after Crossbows already cover the approach. Do not make it your only tower.

towersTurretSteady automated fire with a target toggle. Fine as a filler slot, not the unit Hard bosses are described around.

Player decision Use a spare slot on Easy. Replace it when a Mortar crate arrives.

[🌙] Survive The Night ranking questions

Is this an official tier list?

No. The letters compare how useful a unit is for an Easy clear and the opening of Hard, based on published roles. They are not damage-per-second tests.
