Start your first house

Claim a house, place a Crossbow, start a Farm, and raise the door before wave 15 on Easy.

Before the first wave

[πŸŒ™] Survive The Night puts you in a house and sends monsters at the door. Easy mode is the starting difficulty: one door, 15 waves, and a clear that awards the Easy Peasy! badge.

Finish the opening tutorial before you look for codes. The tutorial walks you into the house, has you place a Crossbow, and has you build a Farm. The RDM code button stays unreliable until that walkthrough is done.

Joining the Duni&Minion group and liking the experience is reported to add 100 starting cash. Playing in a house with friends adds bonus coins. The exact friend bonus is not published.

Opening order

  1. Claim an open house. Easy houses have one door. Do not start on a two-door house until you have cleared Easy.
  2. Place the starter Crossbow where it can shoot enemies at that door.
  3. Build a Farm, or upgrade the indoor Money Printer, before you spend the rest of your cash on weapons.
  4. Raise the door to level 2 and then level 3. Higher tower and income upgrades stay locked until the door tier allows them.
  5. Add more Crossbows, or a Cannon if you already have one, so normal ghouls die before they chip the door.
  6. Use the manual repair prompt when the door takes a burst of damage. Repair has a delay, so do not wait until the bar is empty.

What a clear looks like

On Easy, Iron Fist shows up around waves 7 to 8. The wave 15 fight is the Golden King with the Rotten Boss, also called Rotten Brew. A door around level 8 and several upgraded Crossbows are the reported way to finish that fight. The Golden King is reported at about 30 damage per hit, which a leveled door can absorb.

A win returns you to the lobby with Coins, Gems, and EXP. Talk to Lorenzo to open reward crates. Those crates are how players pick up the Mortar, Mining Cave, Flamethrower, Cannon, and Medical Base.

What to do next

Spend match Coins on the door and income buildings. Save Gems for pets. Read Door defense before the first boss, then Easy mode when you want the full wave plan.
