What Easy asks for
Easy mode is available immediately. The house has one door. The run is 15 waves. Beating it awards Easy Peasy! and opens the Hard portal in the lobby.
You are defending against ghouls and zombies, then two mid-run threats and a final pair:
- Iron Fist, around waves 7 to 8. Low to moderate door damage if the door is already level 4 or higher.
- Rotten Brew, also called the Rotten Boss, as part of the late fight.
- The Golden King on wave 15, reported at about 30 damage per hit.
A practical wave plan
- Crossbow at the door, then a Farm or a printer upgrade.
- Door to level 2, then level 3, so later tower levels unlock.
- Keep adding Farms through the early waves. A common reported layout is several Farms plus the printer, not a single income building.
- Push Crossbows toward the higher color tiers. Level 6 has been seen as a red Crossbow.
- Take the door toward level 8 before wave 15 so the Golden King's hits land on a large health pool.
- Repair by hand if anything stacks on the gate.
Stacking about 8 to 10 Crossbows is a reported way to clear ordinary zombie waves. A Cannon, if Lorenzo already gave you one, adds heavier shots for less early cash than a Mortar.
After the victory screen
You receive Coins, Gems, and EXP. Lorenzo's free crates can add the Mortar, Mining Cave, Flamethrower, Cannon, and Medical Base. Those are the tools Hard mode expects. Do not queue Hard on the same loadout of only starter Crossbows if the crates are still unopened.
Baby Steps! is a separate goal: reach EXP level 10. Clearing Easy helps, but the badge is an account level, not a mode clear.
